Ramanagara Court registers case and issues summons to news channel Samaya News, Ranganath Bharadwaj Chief Editor and Anchor of Samaya News, film producer Madan Patel and self-professed activist Bhima Shankar Patil, for multiple serious crimes including criminal intimidation, intentional insult to provoke breach of peace, criminal conspiracy, acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention, and defamation against His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda.

Samaya news television channel, Karnataka, one of the main paid media houses today in India, played a major role in creating and publicising atrocity material to defame His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda. The channel has caused irreparable harm by consistently airing FALSE material on Paramahamsa Nithyananda to keep the defamation fresh in the minds of the viewers. Millions are blinded by the False news they have aired. For all the crimes they have committed against Paramahamsa Nithyananda and other Hindu Masters, Ranganatha Bharadwaj and his 2 colleagues (working with him at Suvarna channel now) have now been charged with criminal conspiracy, criminal intimidation, inciting breach of peace and more.
In a huge win for Paramahamsa Nithyananda, the Hon’ble Court of the Addl Civil Judge and JMFC, Ramanagara, ordered for case to be registered and summons to be issued to news channel Samaya News, Ranganath Bharadwaj Chief Editor and Anchor of Samaya News, film producer Madan Patel and self-professed activist Bhima Shankar Patil, for multiple serious crimes including criminal intimidation, intentional insult to provoke breach of peace, criminal conspiracy, acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention, and defamation against Paramahamsa Nithyananda.
Samaya News had been telecasting rumors, false news and defamatory statements, programmes, news items and panel discussions since 2014. The Hon’ble Court observed that Samaya News has taken the law into its hands and conducted a “media trial” which “has become a common phenomena in India”. The Court went on to state that Samaya News and Ranganath Bharadwaj “ought to have restrained themselves and instead they went on broadcasting etc of the various programmes”.
The Court has come down heavily on Madan Patel, the film producer who had made a film ‘Satyananda’ claiming the same to be based on the life of Paramahamsa Nithyananda. The movie had been strongly condemned by the Hon’ble City Civil Court and censor cuts ordered on the same.
The Court cognized the offences by the various accused of “actively participating in telecasting, publishing, editing, etc of various programmes etc only with an intention to lower or tarnish the image and character of Paramahamsa Nithyananda” intending to harm His reputation, “amounting to conspiracy against Him and His institutions”.
The Court cognized the grave offences of abusing in filthy language, criminal intimidation and causing threat to the life of His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda.
This judgment marks one more in the series of judgements imparting justice to Paramahamsa Nithyananda on whom false cases have been foisted by vested interests in the wake of the media frenzy created out of a fake morphed video showing Him with actress Ranjitha.
On December 7, 2017, the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India also gave a landmark judgement coming down heavily on the deliberate suppression of critical evidences including the statement of Ms Ranjitha stating that the video allegedly showing her with Paramahamsa Nithyananda was a fake and morphed one. The other evidences against the conspirators Lenin Karuppan, the false rape victim Aarthi Rao and false witness Vinay Bharadwaj include
- The medical reports of the false rape victim Ms. Aarthi Rao from 2004 to 2009 showing that she has had 4 highly contagious and incurable STDs some of which are transmitted by mere touch
- Her own email admission in mid-2009 six months after her last alleged instance of rape that she never had any kind of sexual relationship with Paramahamsa Nithyananda
- Multiple proofs of discrepancies in the dates and locations of the alleged rape incidents
- Paramahamsa Nithyananda’s medical reports showing he has never had any STDs and has a yogic body and not capable of a sexual act.
The conspirators are currently facing prosecution for the blackmail, extortion and criminal conspiracy by them against Paramahamsa Nithyananda in the trial Court in Chennai.

Madam if you continue to keep silent in a situation like this you will be creating more doubts in people. Please speak up. But i would like to say one thing, our attempts will not die down until people like Samba ji or Nithyananda will leave the state. Our attempts and fights will continue.
