Sri Nithya Mayatitananda Swami was assaulted while recording a planned attack by the media mafia at Nithyananda Peetham, Bengaluru Aadheenam (monastery). Below is the series of events showing how Sri Nithya Mayatitananda Swami is attacked by the Suvarna TV reporter, who was part of the attack on Bengaluru Aadheenam. He is seen snatching the camera and kicking Sri Nithya Mayatitananda Swami. The whole attack has been captured.

Sri Nithya Mayatitananda Swami is a sanyasi of Nithyananda Order. Before taking up the spiritual lifestyle, he was a software engineer by profession and experienced working with Tata Consultancy. He joined the aadheenam (monastery) in 2010 where he takes care of video production.

An Interview with Sri Nithya Mayatitananda Swami 

How did you come to meet Paramahamsa Nithyananda?

 Through my school friend, I came to meet Swamiji in Chennai NSP (Nithyananda Spurana Program) in 2008.

How do feel about leaving everything and then getting abused, harassed and physically harmed by conspirators out to harm His Divine Holiness and His followers?

After attending the NSP 4 days program, I felt I got something in my life whichever I am eagerly looking for. I wanted to practice meditation so I was reading the Meditation For is for You book (by Paramahamsa Nithyananda). While reading each meditation, I felt like I am really doing the meditation. I have been searching for some center to practice meditation. I found one in Adyar Chennai and practiced meditation.
I never believed the scandal or that fake video when it got released because I know about Swamiji very well.  Because it has been telecast continuously in TV channels, my relatives, parents, friends and my colleagues started believing that and abusing me. Not only that, they didn’t allow me to wear my mala and to watch Swamiji’s satsangs which I would like to do. I was continuously abused in the working place and by relatives and there was confusion among devotees.
Before I came to stay at the aadheenam, rumors had been spreading everywhere like Swamiji won’t be heading the ashram. It’s going to be handed over. Where would I go? I believe that living in the aadheenam is my life. I didn’t know what to do. I can’t cry in front of my friends. I was crying in the bathroom and praying to Swamiji. Please do something to stop this nonsense. one part of my heart believed that this rumor would be stopped in 4 days but it continuously went on. I felt relief when I heard the news that Swamiji would be released from prison. The very next day I visited the aadheenam and got blessings from Swamiji.
In 2010, I left my house and came to the aadheenam (monastery) to live a spiritual life, have a peaceful mind and to experience the ultimate state enlightenment. It’s very disgusting that I have been attacked, physically harmed and had to hear abusive statements from conspirators and henchmen, out to harm people. I love Swamiji and his teachings, which makes us experience the ultimate. I have been enjoying living the aadheenam (monastic) lifestyle but I don’t understand why anti-social, anti-Hindu elements are not allowing me to practice spirituality. What I did do to them?
 

On the Revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma

Swamiji is reviving all the aspects of Sanatana Hindu Dharma (science, techniques, spiritual healing, programs, distance healing, spiritual truths delivered in discourses, temple rituals, Ratha Yatra, padayatra, etc). Common people started understanding Hinduism and its benefits – how it directly helps them in their day to day life. Swamiji is making all the videos and books freely available and accessible to common people. Because of these reasons, so many people all over the world are benefitting and realizing Hinduism.
