Media offices get hundreds of letters daily. After the advent of fax and email the number of letters has come down. To compensate that, a lot of audio/video CD/DVDs has come in. In some, good news, pictures will be there. Some would carry confusing news. When we inserted the CD that came yesterday in the computer, a big shock awaited us.
On the computer screen, the scenes showing the world famous spiritual leader in the name of Paramahamsa Nithyananda, with a famous actress indulging in romantically lustful acts were flashed one after another, across the computer screens. The name of the actress starts with the letter “R”. Since he was an influential spiritual leader, initially we suspected that this could be a morphed video by some detractors. So we gave the CD to specialist computer and video technicians for analysis. They confirmed that these were not fake but true images on the CD. Only after this, Dinakaran decided to publish this news that was a gross cheating of the trust.
Saamiyaar had setup an ashram known as Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam with its head quarters outside Bangalore on Mysore road. Its branches are functioning in all major cities. In the Dhyanapeetams that are functioning in 1200 branches in 33 countries a lot of people stay and get trained. Just like colleges have various subjects, in Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam also training is conducted under various topics. A fee is charged for that. Income is pouring in several crores.
After changing his name, he spent time blessing people on the banks of Cauveri River in Erode before moving to Bangalore to setup an ashram. The lustful scenes showing Nithyananda, who preached how to practice brahmacharyam to the people, with a Tamil actress caused shock waves across the country.
It is not clear if the place of the incident is a house or a room in the ashram. It looks like a long standing relationship based on how freely Nithyananda and the actress were talking and indulging in romance with each other. Saamiyaar asks for some medicine from the actress and then tastes ice cream. While speaking with excitement he hugs the actress. Some scenes recorded in the CD appear to show the heights of lust. They have been left out and only some scenes are being discussed in this report. It is unfortunate that because of a few people involved in lustful activities, the image of sincere saamiyaars following the path of true bhakti has been tarnished. The lustful leelas of a saamiyar wearing the sacred saffron robe, blessing the people of this country, writing articles in magazines teaching path to goodness in life, has put all his followers, who trusted him into severe agitation.
