Ranjitha had a full life of being with her family and an actress by profession. She acted in over hundred films and travelled to many places to join her husband that was stationed in the India Army.
She also had a strong commitment for humanity and was very involved in the needy and poor sections of society where she did many social services activities. It was not just an act of duty to society it was her passion to work on changes for them. A few organizations like The Banyan organization an organization that focuses on mental health care for destitute women with mental illness and International Foundation for Crime Prevention
and Victim Care an organization that supports victims and survivors of domestic abuse.
There was also a great interest in religion and spirituality having an deeper understanding on the sacred texts of Hinduism can have solutions for the unprivileged people.
She learned about the spiritual and philanthrophic activities of His Divine Holiness, Paramahamsa Nithyananda. Ranjitha realized very early that the teachings were profoundly reformative and took the greater interest in the work being done to bring higher consciousness to the people. She joined as a volunteer later.
The unfolding of what happened to her changed her life forever. There was one resident, Lenin, that was not at all like the other residents of Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam.
Ranjitha filed a case against K Lenin s/o L. Karuppannan, Aarthi Rao and M. Sridhar in 2011.
The case covered many different levels of abuse, defamation and blackmail. The abuse done by Lenin, harassing her and attempting rape, was too much to bare. The attempts to defame her by showing false morphed pictures depicting her in compromised positions were atrocious. It was also revealed to her an extensive video involving a women resembling herself and Paramahamsa Nithyananda. This was set up partly to blackmail her for money but also to defame her for not following along with many of Lenin attempts to sexually abuse her.
This shattered her life and not only herself but the impact it had on her innocent family, extended family and friends.
The one thing she learned through all her social services was making a stand for injustice and abusers. From all the social service work she has done she becomes the voice of many women that don’t feel they have a voice or an opportunity to do so. After a lot of depression and maybe the lowest she has ever been in her life, she stood and took a stand against them and filed a case in 201
