On 18th June 2017, the anti-Hindu forces launched their second mass attack in broad daylight against the innocent Sanyasis of Nithyananda Peetham, Trishulam Aadheenam, Chennai in South India and indirectly at their Guru His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda. Attacking with dangerous weapons and inflicting serious injuries on the Sanyasis, the attackers also destroyed property beyond repair. Further, one of them filed a false case against a male Sanyasi Sri Nithya Yogaswarupananda (aka Gopi) for eve-teasing. The police took immediate cognizance of it and arrested the innocent Sanyasi. The others Sanyasis watched with disbelief at the gross injustice done to them, their hands tied except for legal recourse.
Sri Nithya Yogaswarupananda is a Masters degree holder in Yoga. He sacrificed his life and career for serving the people through meditation, yoga, giving spiritual counselling, serving free food to the surrounding people and carrying on with the temple activities. Slapped with a false case of eve-teasing by malicious anti-Hindu elements, he spent several days in prison for no crime done or even thought of.
