August 1, 2016: In a major victory, the false case filed by Lenin Karuppan in 2010 against His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda was quashed by the Hon’ble High Court of Karnataka today.
On Dec 9th, 2010, Lenin Karuppan held a press conference in Vidhan Soudha (State Legislative Assembly), Bangalore with the intention of spreading lies about Paramahamsa Nithyananda. Taking heed of this, a few disciples went to the press conference but were denied entry and quietly left.
Later, they found out that Lenin had filed an FIR (police complaint) on them alleging they had disrupted his press meet. He also gave several false statements against Paramahamsa Nithyananda, who was nowhere near the scene, claiming that He had planned to harm him. Lenin also claimed that He had sent his disciples to intimidate him.
Today, delivering the judgment in a packed hall, the Court ruled that the entire case filed by Lenin Karuppan against Paramahamsa Nithyananda and His disciples was false and frivolous. As a part of a major conspiracy against Paramahamsa Nithyananda, Lenin Karuppan abetted by his associates had filed the false case against Paramahamsa Nithyananda in 2010.
This ruling is one in a series of judgments in favor of Paramahamsa Nithyananda and His disciples by the Hon’ble High Court of Karnataka. In 2012, the Hon’ble High Court had quashed the cases filed against Paramahamsa Nithyananda by some anti-Hindu elements. Recently, the Hon’ble High Court of Karnataka further ordered the investigating authorities to submit all the evidence found favoring Paramahamsa Nithyananda in their investigations.
This evidence includes:
