Vinay Bharadwaj, an ex-devotee of His Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda found himself in deep waters when the parents of the child he repeatedly raped, filed a complaint against him in US Court. Assessing the unfavorable verdict for himself, he retaliated by filing a case against his Guru, Paramahamsa Nithyananda. Unfortunately, for him this did not go far and he was confined to four and half years of serious punishment behind bars. Not only was he put in jail but also fined to pay a sum of US $ 4.75 million as well.
