On August 10, 2009, Vinay Bharadwaj voluntarily entered into a valid, enforceable mutual release agreement (the “Release Agreement”) in which Mr. Bharadwaj admitted that that Mr. Bharadwaj had engaged in inappropriate contact with a minor child and that he had been making disparaging and false statements about Paramahamsa Nithyananda and Life Bliss Foundation/Nithyananda Foundation . That Release Agreement signed by Mr. Bharadwaj was witness and notarized by Srinivas Kondepudi (See Kondepdui notarized affidavit).
Later on, it became clear, that Vinay Bharadwaj had no intent to honor the contract and instead it was a means to buy time as he and Aarthi Rao formulated fabricated allegations along with a morphed video against Paramahamsa Nithyananda for extortion purposes and to get out of his criminal case. After the failed extortion attempts in early 2010 and the release of the morphed video 2010, the case against Paramahamsa Nithyananda was falling flat as no so called victim had come forward. In effort to keep their conspiracy alive both Rao and Bharadwaj, both gave statements to Karnataka CID claiming that they were “victims” of Paramahamsa Nithyananda.
