DNA Newspaper portrays His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda as a cheat and a fraud. The atrocious defamation of his character is done in subtle ways, under pretense of simply reporting news, but doing so using malicious words and titles. Insulting his dignity as a spiritual leader and Hindu sanyasi, they claim he “falls into dhyana” or meditation whenevr questioned, which is an utter misrepresentation of his actual state.
The same person who spent his entire public life, which spans more than 18 years, in serving the community, healing, devotees, conducting programs and building his ashram and sangha from ground up – is accused of “going dhyana mode” whenever questioned. Surely there are easier ways to extort people and cheat the public? Why put in this kind of handwork into building an organisation and spreading teachings to so many thousands of devotees? DNA Newspaper once again demeans the character of His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda by belittling his spiritual state and experiences, along with serious health issues that he faced while in custody of the police.
Moreover, they have accused him of relinquishing all his positions in the orgnaisation, quoting him saying that he is going to live a life of spiritual seclusion. Paramahamsa Nithyananda had clearly stated that he was leaving his aadheenam in Bidadi to attend the Kumbh Mela in Haridwar and was travelling for spiritual purposes. An article like this, in a newspaper with such a wide readership, spread across so many parts of the country, causes infinite damage to the sacrifice and hard work of Paramahamsa Nithyananda and all his disciples. Thousands of devotees who benefit from his teachings on a daily basis, who have experienced the very tangible effects of his healing, have to bear the pain and agony of seeing their Guru’s sacrifice lynched in such a way.
