In a stunning turn of events favouring His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda, based on an audio recording of a sting operation and other evidence, Chennai Judge ordered a full expanded inquiry by the CBCID into the case of extortion, false allegations of abuse and morphing of ‘fake scandal video’

The case relates to the fake video of Paramahamsa Nithyananda and an actress that was used for extortion and the subsequent media frenzy around it.
The main accused in this case is a controversial, self-proclaimed BJP spokesman, Mr. Kalyanaraman. But charges have also been levelled against one Manohar Shinde from the USA. The call recording made to the head of the Nithyananda Ashram in Chennai in 2011 after the morphed video was released shows Kalyanaraman asking for properties worth 30 Crores and 75 Lakh in cash so that the false rape case against Paramahamsa Nithyananda is withdrawn. Aarati Rao and Lenin Karuppan who were the two false witnesses who had earlier filed a case of abuse against Paramahamsa Nithyananda – which is now awaiting discharge before the High Court of Karnataka – have also been indicted to be part of this conspiracy by the Judge.

Kalyanaraman in the tell-all conversation says that Arathi Rao and Lenin were just pawns in the game and would listen to everything he says. Subsequently, Kalyanaraman had also issued death threats over social media to Paramahamsa Nithyananda and his followers.

Kalyan Raman with False Rape Victim
The conspiracy against His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda was conceived in the US in 2009 and created by a criminal team including media houses Sun TV and Nakeeran- says Valli, a source close to the Nithyananda group who filed the case. Sun TV and Nakeeran are already part of a case that was charge-sheeted by the CB-CID in 2015 for extortion and are undergoing the trial before the Magistrate court in Saidapet along with their henchmen and intermediaries. While she initially refuses, the subsequent events show that she succumbed to the lure of big money and got the footage to morph, says Valli.
Arathi Rao, a US citizen, who was the public-facing figure of the conspiracy in 2010 has several serious and incurable sexually transmitted diseases for more than a decade due to her lifestyle and that was, say the Nithyananda team, one of the reasons for her to join Lenin Karuppan and Vinay Bharadwaj in their scheme.

Vinay Bharadwaj a software engineer from India who had emigrated to the US had earlier tried to rope in two other women for the role played finally by Ms Rao. One of them was an 12 year old girl from Seattle whom he had abused and brainwashed to make her take part in this extortion scheme. But before the plans came through, the parents of the girl found out about her abuse and filed a case of child rape with the US police. Vinay Bharadwaj was subsequently sentenced to 5 years of rigorous imprisonment by the Seattle Courts. But the plan that he had hatched was well under way and went on without him as the morphed video passed into the hands of professional blackmailers – Sun TV and Nakeeran. But when the amount of 60 Crores demanded by the extorters in Feb 2010 was not paid, SunTV went ahead and published the fake video on their channel. The video which was first released on Sun TV ran for 4 days continuously in a loop – showing the rage of the criminal channel with not getting paid for their 1 year long effort. To protect themselves, Lenin Karuppan filed a false case against Swami Nithyananda on 04 Mar 2010 – the first rape charge in Independent India without a victim. Even one whose name has been hidden. His Divine HolinessParamahamsa Nithyananda was subsequently arrested and spent 53 days illegally in jail and was released.
It took the Tamil Nadu Police four years after that to investigate and find out about the conspiracy involved. In 2015 the CBCID charged 9 people including Sun Tv, Nakeeran, Arathi Rao, Lenin and others in a landmark case of extortion and conspiracy. The trial is still in progress in that case.
Shinde’s Check to Rao
It is now clear that all these actions happened at the behest of this Kalyanaraman and his people. The US patron Manohar Shinde was the conduit via which money was laundered to Arathi Rao for her to run her activities. Videos from television news reports clearly corroborate the fact that both KalyanaRaman and Arathi Rao were working closely to pull off this scam.
Four international FBI approved experts have shown that the video of Paramahamsa Nithyananda with an actress was morphed. They have strongly declared that sophisticated morphing technology from abroad was used in this process. In 2010 without any technology, the FSL lab in Delhi had declared that the person in the video resembled Paramahamsa Nithyananda. But they never made any study about whether or how the video was morphed. There is a pending petition by Paramahamsa Nithyananda in the High Court of Madras asking for CBCID to investigate into this aspect so that the people involved in the morphing and not just those who did the extortion are brought to justice.

The False Case Against Swami Nithyananda
- 2 March 2010: A morphed video released by Sun TV (March 2, 2010) showing Sri Nithyananda Swami with a woman. In 2012 Sun-TV’s COO Hansraj Saxena confessed to Sun TV morphing the video for blackmail and extortion purposes. FBI experts independently proved this video to be morphed.

- 21 April 2010: Case of rape, cheating etc. was illegally filed on Swamiji based on this morphed video and Sri Nithyananda Swami was even taken into custody for 53 days though there was no rape victim. Sri Nithyananda Swami demanded on DAY ONE that he was NOT CAPABLE of sexual act and that he should be tested. But surprisingly the CID did not do any medical test. They claim the interrogation videos which show this claim are LOST. Instead they put out appeals on television, newspapers, Facebook and Internet urging “victims to come forward”:“The CID Superintendent of Police Yogappa, in a release here, said all those affected and the victims of Nityananda were free to contact him and depose. He said the travel expenses of those willing to depose before him and provide information would be met by the department and their identities kept in utmost secrecy.” [Indian Express]
- 23 July 2010: The case was about to be quashed by the Hon’ble High Court of Karnataka as shown in the High Court Proceedings excerpt from 23 July 2010 hearing of the quash petition: “…there is no material for the offences under Sections 376 and 420 IPC…”
- 17 August 2010: 6 months after the false complaint filed by Lenin, after no case was made out against Sri Nithyananda Swami, when the false case was about to collapse, another conspirator behind the morphed video, US citizen Ms. Arathi Rao with pseudo-name Ms. Amala, posed as a false rape victim to sustain the false case lest it fall and the truth behind the extortion and conspiracy lead to the exposure of Lenin and her and their resultant arrest.This was inspite of blatant facts like Aarthi Rao herself had admitted as later as end of 2009 she had not suffered any kind of sexual abuse or even knew of anyone else who suffered any such abuse at the hands of Sri Nithyananda Swami.
- June 2011: Kalyanaraman calls the Ashram and offers to drop the false cases if properties worth 30 crores and cash of 75 lakhs is given to him
- 6 November 2011: Arathi Rao filed a similar false complaint in her home country USA alleging rape by Sri Nithyananda Swami.The USA police did not even register a case on the complaint filed by Arathi Rao as no case was even made out:“Numerous documents were submitted to the Ann Arbor Police Department regarding Swami and Rao. At this point, I am unaware of any active investigation regarding the abuse, nor am I aware of any criminal warrants regarding the complaint.”
- 14 March 2012: Lenin was arrested for 108 days for extortion and blackmail after his Anticipatory Bail got rejected even by the Apex Court of India. The case is about to be charge-sheeted.
- 8 August 2012: In response to His Divine Holiness Sri Nithyananda Swami’s application to procure the medical records of Arathi Rao which was essential to prove his innocence in the false case for which he was facing a life sentence, the USA Court issued subpoena (judicial order) to the University of Michigan Hospitals (where Arathi Rao went for medical treatment from at least 2004) to “produce any and all medical records, reports, and test results from 2005 through 2010”The medical records reveal shocking facts including:
- Arathi Rao has 4 HIGHLY CONTAGIOUS, INCURABLE sexually (and by touch) transmitted diseases including genital herpes, herpes simplex, herpes gladiatorum and HSV-II since at least 2004. They get transmitted just by skin to skin contact and do not even need physical intercourse to transmit.
- Sri Nithyananda Swami’s medical test records indicate he does not have any STD, and could not ever have had because the STD herpes itself is incurable and highly contagious.

- August 2014: The US Federal Court in Ohio passed a judgment against Arathi Rao for defaming Sri Nithyananda Swami and for producing the morphed video. Arathi Rao was fined close to half a Million US Dollars by the Court as a penalty. This is the second default judgment against Arathi Rao who faced a similar order by a California court for $25,000 in April 2012.
- Vinay Bharadwaj – a Convicted CHILD RAPIST – who is currently in jail in Seattle, USA added a complaint of unnatural sex against Swamiji just to escape from his case. His charge of Homosexuality too is proven false by the Victoria hospital medical test which says that there is absolutely no evidence of Swamiji having participated in unnatural sex.

- The cases filed by US Citizens Arathi Rao and Vinay Bharadwaj in their home country USA have already been ruled against them and they have been fined heavily for defaming Swamiji
- October 2014: Finally, the medical test done at Victoria hospital shows AMPLE EVIDENCE to support Sri Nithyananda Swami’s claim that he is not capable of sexual act.
- His testosterone levels (needed for libido) are 20 TIMES less than the LOWEST level for being considered a man. (12.5 ng/dl compared to the normal range of 250 to 830 for men). So he has hypogonadism and no sexual drive.
- The medical report notes that “Flaccid state (penile) Doppler assessment showed insignificant blood flow” (so can’t have erection) and “Significant varicocele seen on either side” – both of which STRONGLY indicate that he is not potent
- Also manipulation has been done where the data and conclusion do not match. Two such instances include:
- The data says, Penile Doppler (without ICI) shows “Flaccid state Doppler assessment showed insignificant blood flow”. But the conclusion says, “Flaccid state Doppler assessment showed normal blood flow”.
- The data says, “Significant varicocele seen on either side”. But the conclusion says, “No clinical evidence of varicocele.”
- The report notes Sri Nithyananda Swami’s IMPOTENCE, HYPOGONADISM and GYNAECOMASTIA
- March 2015: The Case against Arati Rao, Sun TV and Nakeeran filed by the CB-CID is awaiting trial in the 11th Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Saidapet Chennai
- Feb 2018: The False Case is stayed and is now waiting to be discharged in the High Court of Karnataka
- March 2018: Chennai Court orders CBCID to investigate Kalyanaraman and others for their part in the morphing, extortion and conspiracy.

CLARIFICATIONS MADE TO ALL THE PRESS REGARDING THE FALSE ALLEGATIONS AGAINST HIS DIVINE HOLINESS PARAMAHAMSA NITHYANANDA BY AN IMPERSONATOR KALYAN RAMAN
On October 16, 2014 the PR of Nithyananda Dhynapeetham sent a Press release to all the Press clarifying about the one Mr. Kalyan Raman. Although, the Press never reported or published this clarification anywhere in their media.

This is to clarify reports in certain media about one Mr. Kalyan Raman, masquerading as a BJP spokesperson, and
claiming to know the facts of the case related to Swami Nithyananda.
Mr. Kalyan Raman has been threatening to kill Swami Nithyananda, intimidating him and his followers and making
derogatory remarks against him to his followers over phone and social media like Facebook over 2 years. He has
been booked for these crimes in FIR 245/2012 registered in Bangalore, and is facing summons for the same.

Various people have registered their complaints on Mr. Kalyan Raman for his open threats and misrepresentation of
himself. He has also admitted to the conspiracy against Swami Nithyananda and cited some names of who has been
involved in it other than himself – Lenin, Arathi Rao, one Manohar Shinde in USA and one Kishan Reddy in
Hyderabad for whom he tried extorting over 75 lakh rupees from Swami Nithyananda, and many such names.

Mr. Kalyan Raman has now claimed knowledge of Swami Nithyananda case and alleged to various media about the medical test on Swami Nithyananda.
The fact is the Special Public Prosecutor yesterday in open Court at Ramanagara told the acting Additional Sessions
Judge when asked about the medical report that the Prosecution “is not obliged to give the medical report to the
Court”. This clearly indicates that the report is very much with the CID and that they are choosing not to produce it. As
per law this is possible “when the results of the investigation are not in the favour of prosecution” which in this case is
that Swami Nithyananda is not capable of performing a sexual act.
Swami Nithyananda obviously knows more about the potency of his body than Mr. Kalyan Raman who claims to know
about Swami Nithyananda. Mr. Kalyan Raman suspiciously knows more about CID and their investigation results as
he claims the CID has not released the results they have got in a sealed cover and yet claims that the test results
confirm that Swami Nithyananda is potent!
Mr. Kalyan Raman also claims the forensic analysis reports of the video showing Swami Nithyananda (allegedly with
a woman) by the FBI specialists in USA are “bought”. This is when the Indian government FSL report itself indicates
the video has been tampered with and details about the “missing clips”. Added to that is the public confession to
media by the then COO of Sun TV, Mr. Hansraj Saxena, that the video showing Swami Nithyananda with a woman
was morphed by Sun TV to extort money as is their modus operandi with many successful high profile individuals.
We request the media to investigate the true profile of Mr. Kalyan Raman who is a proven blackmailer. He has been
publicly threatening Swami Nithyananda and his followers since 2010. As recently as a few months back he had
threatened to stop Swami Nithyananda from entering Chennai. A complaint on the same was registered with the
Chennai police.
