Piyush Manish, a social activist shared the picture of Ma Nithya Maheshwarananda, a female devotee of His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda on his Facebook wall with her permission. In this picture she was with her Guru His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda while taking a selfie during one of the Darshans. He targeted the character of Paramahamsa Nithyananda and his relationship with his female devotees. Piyush Manush has many followers on facebook, a social networking platform). This post was seen by his followers and they started sending abusing messages to Ma Nithya Maheshwarananda. She had to file a police complaint to make Piyush Manush remove her photo from his account. She clearly mentioned that Paramahamsa Nithyananda is like a father and mother to her. She lives in Aadheenam (ashram) with her husband. It was her personal life and it was intruded by Piyush Manush.
What media took it as one more opportunity to flare up its Character assassination campaign against His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda. The sanctity of his relationship with His females devotees are brutally attacked.
