“I struggled to get out of his choke hold”- recalled a Sanyasi (Hindu monk) who had dedicated his life to the service of he society. Illegal attacks by encroachers (who are mobsters) set up by Sun TV and Hindu extremist militant groups, continue to possess the property and harass it’s rightful owners.

Krishnan, one of the mobsters (also encroachers) who had illegally occupied the major portion of the property that was gifted to His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda, by a devotee as a mark of his gratitude to his spiritual master. Krishnan had illegally manipulated land documents and then started using the property for his own family, unconstitutionally. To this day, his entire family is staying there. They were so possessive and cunning that, they ensured no other person or family settles to occupy the place.
Since the land rightfully belonged to one of Paramahamsa Nithyananda’s devotee, one Sanyasi (monk) was sent to ensure the security of the property. One day Krishnan went a step ahead when he started vandalising the place, in the name of levelling it. He was removing the bushes and cutting down the trees.
Startled by the sudden happening, the monk in-charge of security demanded an explanation. He narrates the incident himself where he elaborates,
“That time i asked – what are you doing?”
“He pushed me out by my throat.
I struggled to get out of his choke-hold. When I finally did I was coughing up and my throat burned.”
Helpless, wounded and paralysed, he called the Police to save him.
“They came and stopped the work. They registered my CSR.”
