After years of blackmail and extortion by SunTV and its partners on various public personalities including His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda, the world sees some justice. SunTV shares dropped 26 percent on NSE (National Stock Exchange) after 33 of their channels were denied security clearance.

Sun TV’s criminal conspiracy against His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda in 2010
SunTV and its Chairman and Founder Kalanithi Maran, are notorious for routinely engaging in criminal activities including extorting and blackmailing public figures, such as His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda, all the way to the scale of defrauding the government of hundreds of millions of dollars in the telephone exchange scam.
Sun TV meticulously executed the RELIGIOUS PERSECUTION against His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda to defame and stop His spreading of Sanatana Hindu Dharma. Its co-conspirators are Tamil tabloid owner Nakkeeran Gopal and individuals with vested interests such as Lenin Karuppan, Aarathi Rao and Vinay Bharadwaj.
The conspirers created a morphed video featuring Paramahamsa Nithyananda in a defaming way, spread the video virally and followed it up with staged attacks on Paramahamsa Nithyananda’s various branch aadheenams – temple-monastery complexes – and centers, and gave ample television coverage to the attacks to establish there was mass opposition and hatred against Paramahamsa Nithyananda when in reality the attacks were staged by Sun TV.

A sensational complaint claiming life threat from SUN tv CEO Kalanidhimaran was given by Saxena and others in the Chennai Police Commissioner’s office. SUN tv CEO’s Kalanidhi maran’s partners and COO of Sun Pictures Hans Raj Saxena and Ayyapan upon the complaint given by the movie distributors and producers alleging various fraudulent activities are been arrested. Now having come out in bail have given a sensation complaint to the Chennai Commissioner of Police. They have complained that Sun tv was involved in extortion in the Nithyananda’s morphed CD case and that they continue to extort money from various industrialist and celebrities.
Hans Raj Saxena: That news editor and the man in his department, the threatening drama what they did is this Nithyananda. In that news department, whatever it is they play out if given money. They stop playout if given money. That news editor Raja and his team are the ones who do all this. What they do in the team is, they keep a network of people all around Tamilnadu and ask them to go and cover a factory. Factory has industrial waste coming out. People are suffering. They take a separate shot of old women coughing, they send a person with this video and negotiate and demand money for not releasing the video.”

Sun Tv’s pays the price for years of criminal activity
Due to Kalanithi Maran and SunTV Network’s various criminal activities, the Ministry of Home Affairs struck down Information and Broadcasting (I&B) Ministry’s proposal seeking clearance for their 33 television channels.
As a result, Sun TV shares dropped 26% on NSE.
International Business Times explains:
“The crash was the result of refusal by the Home Ministry, which is likely to shut down the channels as it may lead to cancellation of their broadcasting license. The Sun Network had applied for the renewal of its broadcasting license for 10 years.
The Home Ministry is said to have denied the proposal in the wake of ongoing CBI (Central Bureau Of Investigation) investigation against Kalanithi Maran of SUN TV and his brother Dayanidhi Maran in the Aircel-Maxis multi-crore telephone exchange scam case and also an Enforcement Directorate (ED) case of money laundering.”
