Indian court attaches $115 Million (742 Cr) worth of SunTV CEO Kalanithi Maran’s assets to the growing fraud probe, ensuring he won’t escape justice. His desperate appeals to overturn are denied by the court. Blackmailer Maran was chief conspirator in creating and spreading the morphed video against His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda.

Sun TV conspired in the morphed video against Paramahamsa Nithyananda
Kalanithi Maran, CEO of SunTV network, is the main conspirator in spreading the morphed video of His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda on numerous television channels in the year 2010 and thereafter also.
Sun TV apparently employed paid goons in different areas where Paramahamsa Nithyananda’s branch aadheenams (temple monastery complexes) are located and made them vandalise property and inflict life-attacks on the innocent people living there. They telecast these staged attacks in their Sun TV channels thus making people believe that there is mass hatred against Paramahamsa Nithyananda, whereas the whole attack itself was apparently sponsored and staged by them.
This incident is just one in a series of actions taken against Maran’s criminal activities. Already chargesheeted with blackmail and extortion, he is currently being charged for defrauding the Indian government sponsored telecom giant, BSNL, as detailed by a former executive of his company.
