Counsel to Paramahamsa Nithyananda files Contempt Of Court Against Suvarna Television News Channel for disobeying court order that restrained telecast of anything subjudiced or defamatory on His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda.

Today (5 June 2012), His Divine Holiness Nithyananda’s counsel filed a Contempt of Court petition against Suvarna Kannada 24×7 News Channel at the High Court of Karnataka for disobeying the injunction order restraining the channel from telecasting defamatory news on Paramahamsa Nithyananda. Suvarna News a leading Kannada channel in South India.
The contempt petition is in response to the telecast of incessant manipulated sex stories aimed at character assassination of His Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda by Suvarna channel from 3 June 2012 onwards from a woman who identified herself as ‘Aarthi Rao’ and accused Paramahamsa Nithyananda of sexually abusing her for 5 years between 2005 and 2010. The program was telecasted once on 3rd June and twice on 4th June. It was followed by a ridiculous spate of panel discussions and shows to implant programmed public opinion by Suvarna channel.
Suvarna channel stages paid protest by group of women
On its third day today (5th June), Suvarna went to the extent of bringing around 20 women to the gates of the Bengaluru Aadheenam – Temple-monastery complex in Bengaluru and made them stage a demonstration and relayed it on their news channel, aiming to portray a protest from ‘Women’s organizations’ against Paramahamsa Nithyananda and His organisation. This act was one of the planned actions of the orchestrated venomous black propaganda against His Divine Holiness.
Shocking audacity of Contempt of Court by Suvarna Channel
It is to be noted that on 2nd April 2012, a Bangalore City Civil Court passed an interim injunction order against 9 media houses including TV9, Survarna 24×7, Kasthuri, Udaya, Janashri, Public TV, E TV, Samaya 24×7 and News 9 restraining them from derogatory exhibiting, broadcasting or telecasting of programmes, reports, clippings or visuals referring to Paramahamsa Nithyananda.
On being compelled to avail an injunction order to stop this gross misuse of the freedom of press, Paramahamsa Nithyananda’s counsel has again been pushed to file a contempt of court petition seeking serious action against this gross disobedience of a court order. The petition has been numbered and posted for hearing tomorrow (6 June 2012).
Whenever any influential Hindu Guru influences the masses to spiritually empower them He had been brutally attacked and every possible barbarous efforts were put in place to defame him. Kanchi Shankaracharya, Osho, Sri Aurobindo, Swami Vivekananda, to name a few. In today’s time and era, it became foxily simple for mainstream media to assassinate character of any influential leader by sensationalizing dubious stories about sex on them .
It was submitted that even though the interim order of the court is within the knowledge of the TV channel, and when the interim order was still in operation willfully, the channel had audacity to intentionally and deliberately disobey the order by telecasting/broadcasting the continuous spate of programmes (which still continues) with an intention to ignite malicious black propaganda about Paramahamsa Nithyananda.
