9 Dec 2010:
Times of India explicitly details horrifying cooked-up lies shown as ‘facts’ about a completely fake case against His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda. Anyone reading such disgusting details will naturally carry a prejudice against Him. Even if the whole case is proven as false, people will still carry a cognitive bias against him because of such atrocity literature. Unfortunately, this is the only news they see in the media about Him. Through this bias, the public is guided to make a faulty generalisation against all Hindu Gurus, assuming they are all controversial and infamous. Through this mechanism TOI and other media houses are easily able to manipulate the public to carry a Hinduphobic thought current leading to religious discrimination and resulting in ethnic cleansing of Hindus.
