By falsely clubbing Paramahamsa Nithyananda with other saffron robed monks, Indian Express generalizes all of Hinduism, making faulty generalizations that all monks are cheats and frauds. This creates more stigma against Hindu saints and sages as if they are all scandalous and dramatic, though their initial assumption is completely false.

A sex scandal made out of a morphed images, hindu monks fighting over power roles are distorted events Media has made a mockery of our monks and our values, but the atrocity material generated has reached a peak where the only term associated with a monk or guru is ‘fraud’.
