Cultural Genocide of Hindus
There has been a deliberate and systematic destruction of indigenous Hindu culture. Hindus have witnessed and survived 5000 years of religious persecution. India was called the Golden bird and was attacked for wealth and its sacred richness, that reflected its highly evolved lifestyle and divine knowledge currents. Today Hindu religious leaders are blackmailed for money and property. Not much has changed since then.
Let us look at some historical trends:
- Afghanistan (birthplace of Panini’s Ashtadhaya) used to be full of Hindus and Buddhists; it is completely without them today.
- Just 70 years ago, a part of Bharat declared its independence and decided to break away. Known as Pakistan, it had 26% Hindus and now only 2% or so.
- In 1971, East Pakistan declared its independence citing anti-Bengali attitudes by its ruling military class. This new-born country of Bangladesh had over 30% Hindus at one point of time. That number is down to around 8%.
- Looking east: Malaysia, Indonesia (which has the largest Hindu temple in the world) have a very tiny Hindu/Buddhist minority left.
- Hindus have declined in Sri Lanka from 23.2% in 1901 to 12.3% in 2012.
- In our own country, Kashmir was full of Hindus just 30 years ago. Where are those Hindus today?
- As per several reports, eighty million (8 crore) innocent Hindus have been slaughtered so far. This is equivalent to 13 Holocausts.
- In spite of being majority, Hindus were ruled by others for almost 1000 years.
- When America, Canada, Australia were not known 2000 years ago, we had hundreds of world class universities such as “Taxila”, “Nalanda”, “Valabhi, and 100,000 + Gurukuls (Schools). They were all destroyed during multiple invasions!
- Nearly 40,000 temples were destroyed/converted.
- In the same 800+ years – over 50% of Hindu sacred land has disappeared forever.
It is a threatening trend! The reality is that population and demographics drive culture of a land. Human population increases exponentially. There are some religions that encourage more children solely to increase their population, aiming to dominate democracies
and the world in few decades! As such, the ideologies and beliefs that people followed in the past 1,000 years will change much quicker in the next 50 years.
Hindus of the Indian subcontinent today occupy a unique place in the world. Presently, Hindu thinkers have been panicked by the fact that they represent the last stand of indigenous tradition. Around 1500 years ago, the situation was vastly different. In most parts of the world, including Asia, Africa, the Middle East, the local traditions and practices prevailed and thus there was much cultural diversity. Today, Indian Hindus form the final frontier against the total cultural genocide of indigenous customs and practices. Cultural genocide of local traditions and practices, many of which are oral records from ancient times led to an atmosphere of panic and brutality.
Religious Persecution against Hindus
Hindus have time and again experienced religious persecution in the form of forceful conversions, massacres, demolition and desecration of temples, confiscation or destruction of property, incitement to hate, imprisonment, beatings, torture, murder, destruction of universities and schools.
Horrifying endless attacks on Hinduism since last 2000 years and their impacts

Those who contrast the Hindu spiritual leaders of today with Spiritual Hindu Gurus like Sri Krishna or Buddha would do well to remember that these people were no gods in their own time. Krishna was vilified for his intimacy with the cowherdesses and his unconventional wartime strategies, while the Buddha earned the title of an escapist for leaving his kingdom and family to become a wandering mendicant. Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, one of the greatest enlightened Avatar India has gifted to the world, was widely denounced as a tobacco addict who indulged in immoral tantric practices, and the legendary Swami Vivekananda was accused of being a chain smoker, a womanizer and a mass-hypnotist who peddled his own brand of Hinduism to unsuspecting Western audiences. Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi, who wore no more than a loincloth and lived in a cave, had to face charges of avarice and land grabbing. A lesser known (but by no means lesser qualified) saint, Ramalinga Vallalar, had to face an ugly defamation suit in 1872, when an opponent condemned all of his teachings as false. He lost the case, but continued his widespread humanitarian activities nevertheless.
Closer to our time, Sri Sathya Sai Baba has been accused of committing sex crimes, and the Kanchi Shankaracharya of murder. Osho was alleged to have been secretly poisoned to death when he started becoming too popular for the comfort of the local authorities. And now, the totally of Hinduism today, His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda who is fighting for the religious rights of every Hindu, is being attacked with 50 assassination attempts made on him and 1000s assassinations on his character.

On the evening of March 2nd, 2010, the infamous Tamil TV channel Sun TV aired excerpts from a video, claiming to have received the exclusive footage from an anonymous source. Being an irresistible combination of sex and glamour, the story was promptly lapped up by both the media and the public. Barely hours after the video was telecast by Sun TV, the news picked up a host of other TV and internet channels, and found its way to national newspapers. It skyrocketed to the top of internet search lists and hogged prime time on regional TV shows. In less than a week since the news broke out, Paramahamsa Nithyananda had become a household name – for the wrong reasons.
In 2010, after failing at extorting cash and properties, a fake video in the media, out of a planned strategy to tarnish His reputation, with the motive of cause Hindu Cultural Genocide. The morphed video was released in a coordinated effort to defame Him as a part of international conspiracy by Anti-Hindu elements. The morphed video, where He was falsely shown with an actress was broadcasted for more than 14,000 hours in a matter of just 4 years. Moral Panic was implanted in the minds of devotees and followers.

14,000 hrs of media attack and 120 legal cases attacks were filed against His Divine Holiness and devotees were programmed to believe the false propaganda. The defamation was taken a step further by introducing cartoon strips and animation films featuring ‘Nithyananda’ in the press and on the internet. As soon as the fake video was broadcasted, there were people demanding that all the property and wealth of Dhyanapeetam Charitable Trust should be seized by the Government.
Simultaneously, there was a blog and tweets blast on YouTube, with tweet count touching phenomenal 1.5 million on March 13th and 14th. When an attempt was made to track these tweets, it was found that an unnatural majority of the tweets had originated from just 3 cities in the world – San Jose, Chennai and Coimbatore. Evidently, someone was on the job night and day in these cities, generating the tweets.
The media has been overly eager to condemn His Divine Holiness, while the fact is that no case against him has been proved in court. This is a completely unwarranted and deliberate character-assassination and conspiracy of religious persecution. Wrong ideas were implanted in the minds of people and crowd manipulation was done targeting the character of the extremely popular International Spiritual Icon.

Years later, when the dust finally settles, the same media channels and tabloids are finally questioned by their own regulating bodies and by the Judiciary for knowingly airing the fake video and slandering His Divine Holiness, in attempts to boost their viewership ratings. They are forced to publicly air apologies, but of course, enough damage has been done. Ironically, the main television channel – Sun TV – has been actually denied their broadcasting license on requesting renewal.
Multiple apologies were ordered by Broadcast Content Complaints Council (BCCC), media self-regulatory body for airing the information carelessly without exercising caution and verifying the authenticity of the same. A TV channel ‘Star Vijay’ was forced to air apologies on their TV scroll every 2 hours.

He gives a very detailed public statement to open media flatly admitting that the video was morphed and part of a criminal blackmail scheme against His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda, which was part of a larger pattern of criminal extortion schemes leveraging Sun TV’s powerful media influence to extort and blackmail targets.

A sensational complaint claiming life threat from SUN tv CEO Kalanidhimaran was given by Saxena and others in the Chennai Police Commissioner’s office. SUN tv CEO’s Kalanidhi maran’s partners and COO of Sun Pictures Hans Raj Saxena and Ayyapan upon the complaint given by the movie distributors and producers alleging various fraudulent activities are been arrested. Now having come out in bail have given a sensation complaint to the Chennai Commissioner of Police. They have complained that Sun tv was involved in extortion in the Nithyananda’s morphed CD case and that they continue to extort money from various industrialist and celebrities.
Hans Raj Saxena: “That news editor and the man in his department, the threatening drama what they did is this Nithyananda. In that news department, whatever it is they play out if given money. They stop play out if given money. That News Editor Raja and his team are the ones who do all this. What they do in the team is, they keep a network of people all around Tamil Nadu and ask them to go and cover a factory. Factory has industrial waste coming out. People are suffering. They take a separate shot of old women coughing, they send a person with this video and negotiate and demand money for not releasing the video.”
The Sun-TV executive has stated the same in a signed affidavit to the District Court of California thereby completely exposing the conspiracy against Paramahamsa Nithyananda. He also said that the attack on His Divine Holiness is one in the line of many such attacks by atheists such as the Sun TV network and people with other religious affiliations against Hindu Gurus. Last year the Sankaracharya of Kanchi, Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal was acquitted, after a long trial for 9 years, by the High Court of Tamil Nadu, of the charges of murder that were levelled against him by vested interests.
