The 232nd Guru Mahasannidhanam of Thondaimandala Adheenam, Sri Thiruvambaladesika Jnanaprakasha Swamigal, is fondly called as Sannidhanam. He is also the Kula Guru (officiated spiritual master of the family lineage) of His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda, as he belongs to the same community of Adi Saiva Velallars. Paramahamsa Nithyananda has been declared as the lawful successor or the 233rd Guru Mahasannidhanam of the Thondaimanadala aadheenam.
The 232nd Sannidhanam has known Paramahamsa Nithyananda since He was eight years old. He has graced several occasions such as the opening of Paramahamsa Nithyananda’s first aadheenam at Tiruchengode in South India. When Paramahamsa Nithyananda inaugurated his first Aadheenam in Erode in 2001, called as ‘Ramakrishna Dhyanapeetam’, on the banks of River Kaveri, Sri Thiruvambaladesika Jnanaprakasha Swamigal had graced the momentous event with all his well-wishes. He has been a source of great strength and support as a Hindu leader, especially during times of persecution.
