On 27th January 2018, a few sannyasis from Bangaluru Aadheenam were traveling by a car, on National Highway-4. Out of them, two of them were ladies, two of them were kids and one man who was driving the car.
A drunk biker, riding along with a pillion rider, hit the car. Both were thrown down. The bike driver and the pillion rider got up and started shouting and gathered a crowd quickly around them.
The driver who was driving the ashram car obviously in the interest of safety of the women and kids steered the vehicle ahead to a safe spot so that he could ensure their safety and then attend to the bikers.
Meanwhile the pillion driver chased the ashram car in someone else’s car and gathered the crowd around the parked car. There were at least 20 men surrounding the car and they started hurling abuses at the women and kids.
They dragged the driver out and slapped and hit him. The terrified women and kids remained in the car. The bike pillion rider instigated the crowd because he wanted to take the chance to extort money as well.
He threw a stone straight at the front glass of the car aimed at the 10 year old kid. The kid just managed to save her head from being hit as she dodged in time. The 16 year old kid with her then got out of the car in shock and asked desperately why he was hitting them. To her utter shock, he slapped her and pulled her clothes.
Such a shocking cheap behavior with kids being assaulted and women being abused and gross physical abuse for no fault. The vested interest media twisting this fact, also stated that the ashram car hit a bike and tried to speed away. Even more, some news channels falsely reported against Ms Ranjitha and to abuse her, claiming that she was in the car with 5 men, while in reality she was with 2 kids and a woman sannyasini.
The whole shocking crime described above has been registered as a FIR at the Nelamangala Traffic local police station and the accused were booked.
